Ancient books in the libraries of arcane colleges across Kasara and Graalia speak of an island to the east of Kasara, once ruled by the ancient shades. A centre of their magical learning and experimentation, it is said to be hidden from the world behind perilous whirlpools, jagged rocks, coral reefs, illusions and other defences. Many mortals have set out to find this place, but none have ever returned.
